Born in the mid 80’s in Lille, France, Emrod One is a professional Artist with a unique way of immersing Art lovers in the Graffiti world.
The Parisian streets are, from a very young age, under his watch. Joining a Graffiti crew at first, this now popular Art quickly became his medium of expression.
The ephemeral nature of Graffiti motivates him to start a quest: immortalizing this Art through photography. He then started collecting & honoring its essence: the Letter. A singular work that reveals the contrasts of Life and Society, appealing anyone’s curiosity.
Graffiti is now recognized as an identity signature in a city, where each "Writer" is defined by his own style of Letters. They are the key message of the artwork, creating a universal language: modern calligraphy.
Since he started painting his first graffiti 20 years ago, Emrod One gathered references from Artists that influenced him, or he had the chance to collaborate with. You will find hundreds of these samples in his artwork.
Here, Letters free themselves from their grid, away from norms & rules. An alphabet unleashed into infinite variations, offering a show only limited by our imagination.
Original creations offering anyone the opportunity to enter within the world of a Graffiti Artist.
However, don't be fooled by the cryptic appearances. We have here, a new universe taking the shape of complex mosaics, revealing a poetic message, an aesthetic of Street Art.
Obsessed by calligraphy, the artist compose images assembling thousands of photographs of streets, taken at different time frames all over the world.
A mosaic of various types of Letters, forms and textures melting with a work of a digital painting, reinforcing the contrast of each piece. A very attractive Art, creating a movement in the space: to observe from close, and taking a few steps back.

We ordered our first piece after meeting EMROD ONE few years ago, it didn't disappoint! The tiny mosaics, the color effects, everything was flawless. His technique is what struck me the most.
We bought him another art piece. It’s like a mirror of the very essence of the life and struggles in the cities. The composition is out of this world, with graffiti letters in every mosaic.
Besides from the artwork, knowing the man behind the piece makes it a sentimental piece for me.
